To provide on site (client premises or jobsite) technical after sales support.
Supervision of actuator to valve assembly process when requested.
Support in commissioning and functional testing of built packages including FAT.
Rapid response to repair any automated packages damaged in transit from WACC to client premises.
Trouble shooting and rectification of functionality issues raised during FAT or commissioning.
To actively pursue opportunity to provide spares and additional packages to the project.
To seek opportunity to sell service at the end destination.
To undertake and conduct site surveys with the objective of gaining replacement/service work.
To support the Italian domestic sales operation by building Valve Automation / Topworks Packages required to be built from stock held in Seregno (valves, actuators, switchboxes, solenoids, positioners & controls)
To take responsibility for the Valve Automation stores area/workshop in the Emerson Seregno facility.
To build &test actuators from modular stock components.
To build assemble and test control panels.
Territory to include (but not restricted to) Italy, primarily the Valve OEM accounts in Northern Italy.
Knowledge and Skills
Must have oral & written English language skills.
Extensive technical knowledge and experience in the field of valve automation and control.
Must have applicable Engineering qualifications (Instrument/electrical preferred) mechanical desirable.
Good recent knowledge of applications, standards and specifications required in the designated territory.
Must be able to read and correctly interpret drawings and wiring diagrams.
To recognize and promote product improvement initiatives to product management/application engineering.
Must be trained and aware of Health & Safety requirements.
Must have the ability to travel (full clean driving license)
Must have the commitment to work extensive hours when required by the client.
Self-motivated, driven to produce results (Customer satisfaction).
Located in Milan with the ability to travel to all territories defined in the scope.
To be flexible in the multi faceted approach required to fulfill this dual role.
